About Toolmivo
Simple, free tools for the small jobs that come before you hit publish, and they all run privately in your browser.
Why we made it
If you post regularly, you know the routine. A photo needs cropping to 4:5 for the feed. A file is a few megabytes too big to upload. The subtitles drift half a second out of sync, or a landscape clip has to become a vertical one for Reels and Shorts. None of these jobs is hard, but they add up, and most free tools for them want you to sign up, put a watermark on the result or upload your files to a server you know nothing about.
We wanted something simpler, so we built Toolmivo: 10 focused tools that each do one job and run entirely in your browser. You don't install anything, you don't create an account, and your downloads have no watermark.
How it works
- Images are resized, compressed and converted with the Canvas feature built into your browser.
- Videos are trimmed and resized by FFmpeg, the same engine behind many desktop editors, compiled to WebAssembly and running in a background worker on your device.
- Captions, hashtags and subtitles are handled by plain JavaScript in the page.
Since nothing is uploaded, your content stays private and there's no upload queue to wait in. The privacy policy has the full details.
Who uses it
YouTubers, Instagram and TikTok creators, social media managers, small business owners, designers and video editors. In short, anyone who wants a quick, clean result without opening a full editing suite.
Open-source software
Toolmivo is built on some excellent open-source projects. Thank you to the people who maintain them:
- FFmpeg, via ffmpeg.wasm. The WebAssembly core (
@ffmpeg/core0.12.10, including x264) is licensed under the GNU GPL version 2 or later; its complete source code is available from the ffmpeg.wasm repository and ffmpeg.org. The JavaScript wrapper (@ffmpeg/ffmpeg) is MIT-licensed. - Next.js and React (MIT).
- Lucide icons (ISC).
- Inter Tight, Anton, Bebas Neue, Montserrat, Oswald and Permanent Marker fonts (SIL Open Font License), self-hosted.
